1.       Variety.  We don’t know exactly how many species there are on earth, but estimates range from five to a hundred million.  It would be nothing short of a miracle if these species all developed by chance.

2.       Complexity.  Again to quote Darwin: "If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed, which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications, my theory would absolutely break down."  In fact there are a myriad of such complex organs and systems in nature.  When the electron microscope was invented in the 1930’s, scientists were amazed by the complexity of the cell, which until then had been thought to be very simple.  Now we know that even the “simple” cell is like a factory with many different parts and systems within it, all working together in harmony.  Not the work of chance!

See the complexity of a snakebite, the complexity of the blood clotting system and the Kreb’s cycle.

3.     No in-between fossils.  Darwin fully expected millions of in-between fossils to be found, to prove his theory.  To date, nothing has been found which qualifies, although there have been many “false alarms”.  Darwin described the lack of transitional fossils as "the most obvious and gravest objection which can be urged against my theory".

Ian Tattersall and Eldredge (evolutionary paleontologists):“That individual kinds of fossils remain recognizably the same throughout the length of their occurrence in the fossil record had been known to paleontologists long before Darwin published his Origin. Darwin himself . . . prophesied that future generations of paleontologists would fill in these gaps by diligent search. . . One hundred and twenty years of paleontological research later, it has become abundantly clear that the fossil record will not confirm this part of Darwin's predictions. Nor is the problem a miserably poor record. The fossil record simply shows that this prediction is wrong.”

4. Sudden appearance of all phyla in the Cambrian layer.  This is called the “Cambrian explosion” –with virtually no life present in earlier layers.  See link.

5. Population.  If people have been around for 200 to 500 million years (there is disagreement in the evolutionary ranks on that too) then by now there would be so many people that there’d be standing room only!  Even allowing for such things as the Bubonic plague, if people procreated at the rate of 2 per family (a very conservative number considering the huge families of hundreds of years ago) there would be enough by now to fill a universe!  However the Biblical estimate of 6,000 years matches the current statistics nicelySee link.

6.    Mathematics says “No Way!”  Roger Penrose, a famous British mathematician and a close friend of Stephen Hawking, calculated the probability of evolution and stated that the odds against such an occurrence were on the order of 1010123 to 1.

In practical terms, in mathematics, a probability of 1 in 1050 means "zero probability". Penrose's number tells us that the 'accidental" or "coincidental" creation of our universe is an impossibility.

This site is also an excellent mathematical discussion of the probability of evolution: See link.

7. Evolution says: smaller became bigger, few became many, less complex became more complex.  But in fact we see the opposite!  The forms of life that existed in the past were frequently much larger than the animals of these days (giant crocodiles, dinosaurs).  See link.  There were many more species in the past than there are now and we continue to lose species at an alarming rate.  See link.  And complex forms of life were all present at the earliest level of fossil appearance.  See link.

8. Quotes from evolutionists themselves.  See link.

9. Erosion.  At the present rate of erosion, all the high mountains of the world would have been eroded away by now, if billions of years have elapsed since they were first formed.  Those who say “Ah but the mountains are being uplifted as well” should realize that this does not explain the fact that fossils are still found in these un-eroded rocks.  The fossils should all be gone and the rock on top should be very old, if the uplift replaced the eroded rock. See link.

10. Geological layers.  If every geological layer we see represents a long period of time, then why do some fossils span several layers?  Surely an organism would have decayed away by the time it was fossilized.  And how come most of the layers are flat?  If long periods of time had elapsed before the next layer was laid down, erosion would have pitted it severely.  A layer must necessarily represent an event, not a period of time.  See link.

11. According to evolutionists, dinosaurs were extinct before humans came into being; however there are many evidences that humans and dinosaurs co-existed.  See link.

12. Natural Selection is not proven or provable, and when a mutation occurs it is not beneficial to the organism.  See link.

13.  Icons of evolution known to be wrong but still taught in schools:

•The Miller-Urey experiment (origins) has been shown to be incorrect in its assumptions.  See link.

•Archaeopterix ("missing link") is really a true bird, not a link.  See link.

•The fossil "tree" is more like a lawn than a tree: See link.

•The farce of Haeckel’s fake embryos: See link.

•The story of the peppered moths: See link.

•Darwin’s finches, temporary variations in beak length due to conditions.  Within normal for the species: See link.

•Natural selection and mutations.  There is never any gain in genetic material, or improvement in performance.  Even bacteria are STILL bacteria at the end of the day.  Their increased resistance comes at a cost; there is usually decay and diminished function.  Bacteria have been CREATED to be resilient and adaptable to their environment, but when they adapt to become more resistant there is also a downside – they lose the ability to multiply and grow as quickly. See link.

•Ape to man evolution has never been successfully proven, because the supposed missing links have all been fakes!  See link.

14.  Intelligence.  We must have been programmed with the ability to reason and create, for intelligence doesn’t just spring from nothing.  The possibility to manipulate conditions to “create life” simply means that we have an advantage over pure chance – given to us by Somebody or Something.  Intelligence doesn’t come about by chance.

15.  Logic: Did animals without fur coats develop them all of a sudden, or over thousands or millions of years?  If the latter, then why didn’t the early ones die out from cold in the meantime?  The same goes for any “advantageous adaptation” – surely if the animal needed it, it needed it NOW, not in a million years time.  If a species could survive the eras waiting for a suitable adaptation, surely the inference is that it was not necessary in the first place.

16. Deception.  The road of evolutionary theory is paved with deception.  See link.

17. The Laws of Thermodynamics, especially the second-- where left to itself a system loses order and energy and becomes more random.: See link.

18.  The Christian view.  From a Christian point of view, I value the Bible’s contribution.  The Bible says that by one man came sin, and by sin came death.  If sin came before death, then mankind must have been around before the possibility of death.  Evolution could not have led to mankind’s existence, because evolution assumes death of untold generations BEFORE mankind even came to be.

There are facts and there are assumptions.  Evolution assumes many things from the facts available.  Evolution in itself is not a fact.  It is a belief system.
